Gifted Testing Colorado offers professional, independent educational testing and cognitive evaluations for children aiming for gifted program identification, advanced learning plan (ALP) qualification, accelerated coursework placement, or a deeper understanding of their learning profile. I'm Kaitlin Smith, EdS, a Licensed School Psychologist, and I collaborate closely with each family from the initial conversation through to the final report.
The Assessments I Offer
I administer the two cognitive assessments that Colorado schools rely on for gifted identification: the WPPSI-IV for children ages 2½ through 7 years 7 months, and the WISC-V for children ages 6 through 16. Both assessments yield a Full-Scale IQ score alongside detailed index scores in verbal comprehension, visual-spatial reasoning, fluid reasoning, working memory, and processing speed. These assessments are recognized by most Colorado school districts as part of the evidence needed for giftedness assessment.
What's Included — Flat Fee of $500
Each evaluation comes at a single flat fee of $500. This includes the complete assessment session, scoring, interpretation, and a written report that you can submit to your child's school or retain for your records. There are no hidden charges or per-hour billing.
